Our patient needs a molar root canal.  Why not complete the root canal AND the post-crown in one visit?  This video shows you how to manage prep geometry, milling parameters and workflow for the single visit root canal / endo crown procedure using Planmeca CADCAM.

I would like to clarify one “detail” I presented in the video – the recommendation I made to mill the post-crown in detailed mode using a C14 e.max block. SOS strongly recommends against doing this because there is a risk for breakage of the detailed milling bur. My experience is that I have not had ANY burs break. However, we do keep our mill in pristine clean condition and I change out my burs when they reach a wear level of the last green bar.
